ATV ride
It doesn’t happen often, but after my husband asked me a million times if I wanted to ride an ATV with him, I finally said yes. I’m glad I did.
He rides almost every day and has always told me how scenic it is. I didn’t quite believe him. He also enjoys a bit of adrenaline and usually drives fast, so I had my reasons for staying home. This time, I rode on the back, and he was wonderfully gentle with me. Apparently, he can behave when there’s a passenger to protect.
We’re lucky to live close enough to the mountains that we can ride ATVs right from home. The area has plenty of routes to explore, though you need to stay alert: people shoot out there, and it’s open range. Definitely keep your eyes and ears open.
The real show was the sunset. It was one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. We stopped several times to take photos and videos, but none of them captured how it felt to be there. I just wanted to freeze that moment and keep it.
I’m glad he finally convinced me to go. Turns out, he was right about the views. I’ll try not to let him enjoy that fact too much.
